They say that nobody is perfect. Then they tell you practice makes perfect. I wish they'd make up their minds.

As pessoas dizem: "Procura pessoas boas e deixa as más."
People say: "Find good people and leave bad ones." But it should be: "Find the good in people and ignore the bad in them." No one is perfect.

Perfeição # Perfection
- What's this, mummy? - Open it!
- A puppy!
- Wait... What kind of dog is this that doesn't have a leg?!
- What do I want a sick dog for?! This sucks! I don't want a dog. I don't want anything. I hate you all!
- Get out of here with that ball! You're not like the other dogs... You can't play. You only serve for people to have pity, don't pretend your happy...
- Give me that. Go and get it... and disappear!
- Didn't I tell you?! Your not the same as the others...
- It's no use isn't it?! You don't even care about your leg... Your perfect just like that.
- OK, let's go and play outside.

Ninguém é Sempre Perfeito # Nobody is Always Perfect
– Ai! – lamentou-se o poeta. – Não
tarda que a vela acabe. Como vou eu conseguir terminar o poema?
Abriu a janela e gritou:
luar volte a iluminar-me.
O vento terá ouvido o pedido e rodopiou numa súbita
ventania.
apalpadelas. Ficou o poema a meio.
valia pouco. Ninguém é sempre perfeito...

When there was no electric light, but almost, who ever wanted to work or read after sunset had to illuminate with oil lamps. The poorest, with no money for oil, used tallow candles.
It was the case of the poet of our story. There he was at night, writing verses, lit only by the moonlight and by the uncertain flame of a little candle almost extinguishing, when a cloud intercepted the light of the moon.
It was the case of the poet of our story. There he was at night, writing verses, lit only by the moonlight and by the uncertain flame of a little candle almost extinguishing, when a cloud intercepted the light of the moon.
– Oh! – Lamented the poet. – It won’t be long
and the candle will extinguish. How will I manage to finish the poem?
He opened the window and shouted:
– Wind, if you're my friend, remove the cloud, so that
the moonlight can again give me light.
The wind must of heared the request and whirled in a sudden
gale. It was so much that it blew the candle of the poet. The poor man found
himself in the dark.
– Wind, you did not understand what I asked – said the
irritated poet. - You're clumsy.
From the overcast sky began to drop a mighty downpour.
– Now. No need to cry. Nobody is always perfect – said
the poet to the wind.
He closed the window, and resigned, went to bed groping. The poem stayed
unfinished. Not much was lost, because the poem wasn’t that good. Nobody is
always perfect...
