Real couples stay faithful. They don't even think about looking for another, because they're too busy looking for ways to show love to each other.

Eu Morreria Por Ela! # I'd Die For Her!

Dad: What can you do for my daughter?
Boyfriend: I'd die for her!
Dad: I don't like you.
Boyfriend: Why?
Dad: I'm looking for someone who will live for her, not someone who will die and leave her alone.

Os bons relacionamentos não acontecem por acaso. Eles levam tempo, paciência e duas pessoas que realmente querem ficar juntas.
Good relationships don't just happen. They take time, patience, and two people who truly want to be together.

No relationship is all sunshine, but two people can share one umbrella and survive the storm together.

Verdadeiro Amor # True Love
O verdadeiro amor não é encontrado.
É esculpido.
Esculpido do sacrifício.

True love isn’t found.
It’s carved.
Carved out of sacrifice. Carved out of covenant. Carved out of two dying to the loneliness of self to be made into one.

Amor no Casamento # Love in the Marriage
romanceada.
#
This
is how to make love out of a marriage: Love lays down its own wants to lift up
the will of another. Love
lets go of its plans, to hold on to a person. This is the passion of
Christ. Ours is the romanced universe. For God so loved, He gave… A good
marriage isn’t about reliving a good movie, but reliving the Good News. Nothing
is more attractive than sacrifice.

Vinte anos.

Twenty years. What can a person accomplish in 20 years? Well, apparently, and somehow, you can accomplish a marriage.
I love being married. It's so great to find that one special person you want to annoy for the rest of your life.

DIVORCE by Arnaldo Jabor...
My friends who are divorced never get tired of asking how I
managed to stay married 30 years with the same woman. Women always more evil
than men, do not ask my wife how she manages to stay married to the same man,
but how she manages to stay married to me. The younger people usually ask the
right questions, or want to know the secret to keeping a marriage for so long.
Nobody teaches it in schools, on the contrary. I’m not an expert in the field,
as everyone knows, but said that, my answer is more or less the following:
Nowadays divorce is inevitable, you cannot escape. Nobody
can stand to live with the same person for a lifetime. I actually am already in
my third marriage – the only difference is that I married three times the same
woman.
My wife, if I’m not mistaken is in her fifth because she
thought about packing up the bags more often than I do. The secret of marriage
is not the eternal harmony. After the inevitable arguments, the solution is to
analyse, to settle down and start again with the same woman.
The secret is to renew the current marriage and not seek a
new marriage. This requires some care and concerns that are forgotten in the
couple’s routine.
From time to time, it is necessary to renew the relationship.
From time to time you need to get back together, back to romance, to seduce and
be seduced. How long haven’t you both gone to dance? How long haven’t you tried
to romance her (or him) as a potential new pair?
When was the last honeymoon without children eternally
struggling to get the parents attention? Not to mention the many kilos
that were added to you after getting married. Wife and husband when they
separate they usually lose 10
kg in one month, so why can’t we achieve the same while
being together?
Pretend you’re in a new relationship. If it was a new
marriage, you would certainly frequent new places, change the house or
apartment, change your wardrobe, cds, hair style, the makeup. But all this can
be done without you separating from your spouse.
Let’s be honest: no one can stand the same woman and the
same husband for thirty years with the same clothes, the same lipstick with the
same friends, with the same jokes. Often it is not your wife who is getting
boring and musty, it is you who are “wearing” the same furniture with the same
faded decor.
If you do divorce, certainly you would change everything,
which is precisely one of the pleasures of separation. Who separates feels
delighted with the new life, new house, new neighbourhood and new circle of
friends.
The truth is, no one needs a nasty divorce to have it all.
Just change places and interests and do not accommodate. This obviously is
expensive and many unions end because the couple refuses to pay these small
costs required to renew a marriage.
But if you separate, your new spouse will want new children,
new furniture, new clothes, and you still have child support from a previous
marriage to pay.
There is no such thing as “stable marriage” nor should it be
desired. The world changes, and so do you, your husband, your wife, your
neighbourhood and your friends.
The best strategy to save a marriage is to maintain a
“stable relationship”, but to learn how to change together. Every spouse needs
to evolve, to study, improve themselves, get involved in things I never would
have thought to do at the beginning of marriage. You do it constantly at work,
why not do with it with your own family?
This is what your children do since they came into the
world. So discover the new woman and the new man who lives next to you instead
of going around trying to find a new interesting pair. I’m sure your children
will respect the decision of staying together and learn the important lesson of
how to grow and evolve together despite disagreements. Fights and arguments
always occur: so from time to time it is necessary to remarry, but try to do it
all with the same pair.
As you see, THERE IS NO MAGIC – THERE IS COMPROMISE, COMMITMENT AND WORK
– this is what saves marriages and families.
