Um destemido que claramente tem cabeça para as alturas é apenas um ponto no horizonte enquanto se mantém de pé na ponta da famosa Aiguille Dibona, uma montanha francesa que fica a 3.130 metros de altura.

Não Sejas Um Tolo! # Don't Be A Fool!
Jesus Cristo falou de alguém que agiu como um tolo. "A terra de certo homem rico produziu muito bem. Ele pensou consigo mesmo: ‘O que vou fazer? Não tenho onde armazenar minha colheita’. Então disse: ‘Já sei o que vou fazer. Vou derrubar os meus celeiros e construir outros maiores, e ali guardarei toda a minha safra e todos os meus bens. E direi a mim mesmo: Você tem grande quantidade de bens, armazenados para muitos anos. Descanse, coma, beba e alegre-se’."
"Contudo, Deus lhe disse: ‘Insensato! Esta mesma noite a sua vida lhe será exigida. Então, quem ficará com o que você preparou?’ Assim acontece com quem guarda para si riquezas, mas não é rico para com Deus."
Pergunta: Quando é que vais parar de perseguir celeiros maiores e de sonhar em como preenchê-los, para começar a pensar sobre a tua alma? Tudo o que conta é: "Conheces Deus?" e "O que já fizeste por Deus e os teus semelhantes?" Pára de agir como um tolo e acerta as contas com Deus através de Jesus Cristo. E fá-lo hoje!

Jesus Christ tells of someone who acted like a huge fool. "A certain rich man was very productive and he thought to himself, ‘What shall I do since I have no place to store all that I have?’ He decided to tear down his barns and build larger ones and then store all his grain and goods. Then he said, ‘I have many goods laid up for years to come; now I’ll take it easy and eat, drink, and be merry!'"
"But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life is required of you and now who will own all that you have?’ So is the man who lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God."
Question: When are you going to pause long enough from pursuing bigger barns and dreaming of how to fill them up, to start thinking about your soul? All that counts is "Do you know God?" and "What have you done for God and your fellow man?" Quit acting foolish and get things right with God through Jesus Christ. And do it today!
