Deus é um trabalhador. Só isto dá-nos uma pista de que o trabalho em si deve ser significativo, deve ter valor intrínseco. Como um ser humano criado à imagem de Deus, somos inerentemente significativos e quando trabalhamos estamos a fazer algo que é muito semelhante a Deus. Não é só a obra de Deus que é significativa; o trabalho humano também é significativo. É algo ordenado por Deus. O facto é que o nosso trabalho é, nas palavras de Génesis 1: "muito bom". Intrinsecamente bom. Valorizado por Deus. ~ Eclesiastes 9:10

God is a worker. This alone gives us a clue that work itself must be significant, that it must have intrinsic value. As a human created in God's image, you are inherently significant and when you work you are doing something that is very Godlike. It is not only God's work that is significant; human work is significant, too. It is something ordained by God. The fact is that your work is, in the words of Genesis 1: "very good". Intrinsically good. Valued by God. ~ Ecclesiastes 9:10
