O Verde de St Stephen (Irlandês: Faiche Stiabhna) é um parque público no centro de cidade de Dublin, na Irlanda. A paisagem actual do parque foi projectada por William Sheppard. St Stephen's abriu oficialmente ao público a 27 de Julho de 1880, embora o parque em si exista desde 1664 (antes de 1880 era apenas acessível para os residentes ricos que possuíam parcelas em torno do parque). Com 89.000 m2, é o maior dos parques Georgianos de Dublin.

St Stephen’s Green (Irish: Faiche Stiabhna) is a public park in the city centre of Dublin, Ireland. The current landscape of the park was designed by William Sheppard. St Stephen’s officially opened to the public on 27 July 1880, although the park itself has been around since 1664 (prior to 1880 it was only accessible to the wealthy residents who owned plots around the park). At 22 acres (89,000 m2), it is the largest of the Georgian parks in Dublin.

Todos queremos que as coisas sejam fáceis para nós, mas temos que admitir que a vida não funciona assim. Surgem tempos difíceis. Os relacionamentos são estragados. As preocupações financeiras atormentam-nos. Até há tempos de guerra. Sim, as nuvens e as tempestades realmente surgem.
Jesus disse: "No mundo tereis tribulações." Mas a boa notícia é que Ele não parou por aí. Ele também disse: "Mas tende bom ânimo. Eu venci o mundo." Sim, os problemas são factos da vida. Mas Jesus deu-nos um meio de encontrar a vitória, a verdadeira vitória, mesmo em tempos difíceis.
Não vais permitir que Ele forneça tudo o que precisas para enfrentar os bons e os maus momentos? Ele está disposto e capaz de providenciar o triunfo, mesmo quando as coisas parecem mais escuras. E é geralmente por intermédio das tempestades da vida que aprendemos as nossas lições mais valiosas. Confia em Jesus Cristo.

There’s an African proverb that goes like this: "Smooth seas do not make skillful sailors." Have you ever thought of life that way?
All of us want things to go our way all the time, but we have to admit that life doesn’t work like that. Hard times come. Relationships are damaged. Financial worries plague us. There are even times of war. Yes, the clouds and the storms really do come.
Jesus said, "In this world, you will have trouble." But the good news is, He didn’t stop there. He also said, "Take heart. I have overcome the world." Yes, trouble is a fact of life. But Jesus has given us a means of finding victory, the real victory, even in hard times.
Won’t you allow Him to provide all you need to face the good times and the bad? He’s willing and able to provide triumph, even when things look the darkest. And it’s usually through the storms of life that we learn our most valuable lessons. Put your trust in Jesus Christ.
