Bateste No Fundo? Talvez Estejas No Caminho Para Cima! # Hit Rock Bottom? Maybe You're On The Way Up!

Quando eras jovem, chegaste a pensar que algum dia serias poderoso e irias estar no comando? Se sim, provavelmente conseguias sentir o poder a brotar dentro de ti apenas pela antecipação dessa realização.

Bem, quando José do Antigo Testamento tinha dezassete anos, ele teve um sonho que profetizou que um dia governaria os seus irmãos. Esta espreitadela no seu destino encheu-o de autoconfiança; ele era um jovem que estava a caminhar para cima. Mas o facto é que ele ainda não estava pronto para governar os seus irmãos. Precisava de passar por alguns períodos de modelagem da personalidade. E, de facto, ele fez exactamente isso, passou 13 anos enfrentando reveses, desafios e até prisão. Embora José tenha sido esquecido pelo homem durante esse tempo, nunca foi esquecido por Deus. Através da adversidade, Deus moldou o seu carácter de modo que, quando Faraó nomeou-o primeiro-ministro do Egipto, ele estava pronto para cumprir o seu destino escolhido por Deus.

Pensa em José quando passares por momentos difíceis na tua própria vida. Às vezes, Deus quebra-nos e permite que batemos no fundo do poço para que Ele possa moldar-nos na pessoa que Ele está a chamar-nos para ser. Talvez a adversidade seja o caminho de Deus para fortalecer-te, ensinar-te e preparar-te para os grandes planos que Ele tem para ti.

When you were young, did you ever have thoughts of someday being powerful and in charge? If so, you probably could feel the power welling up inside just at the anticipation of that accomplishment.

Well, when Joseph of the Old Testament was seventeen, he had a dream prophesying that he would someday rule over his brothers. This peek into his destiny filled him with self-confidence; he was a young man who was riding high. But the fact is, he wasn’t ready to rule over his brothers yet. He needed to go through some character-shaping times. And indeed, he did just that, spending thirteen years facing setbacks, challenges, and even prison. Although Joseph was forgotten by man during those times, he was never forgotten by God. Through adversity, God molded his character so that when Pharaoh appointed him the Prime Minister of Egypt, he was ready to fulfill his God-chosen destiny.

Think about Joseph when you go through tough times in your own life. Sometimes God breaks us and allows us to hit rock bottom so that He can shape us into the person that He is calling us to be. Maybe the adversity is God’s way to toughen you, teach you, and prepare you for the great plans He has for you.
