Abraça A Tua Fraqueza # Embrace Your Weakness

Alguns vêm de famílias de empreendedores. Muitas vezes eles são demasiadamente empreendedores e, em alguns casos, "workaholics" (viciados no trabalho). Talvez isto esteja enraizado na sua genética, talvez seja uma combinação de impulso e habilidade. Talvez estejam apenas orientados para estarem "altamente alertas", ou talvez seja apenas o facto de terem sido socializados a acreditar que nasceram para se esforçarem continuamente para "mais" na vida. Suspeito que como tantas outras coisas, é uma combinação de duas ou mais das opções atrás. Seja qual for a razão, os membros de algumas famílias não são susceptíveis de terem conforto no conceito de repouso ou, pior ainda, fraqueza.

Então, não é surpreendente, que a ideia de pertencer a Deus, de ser amado, rapidamente se transforma numa esperança de algum tipo de excelência da sua parte. Ao longo do caminho, tentam oferecer algum tipo de perfeição consciente a Deus e, em seguida lutam muito com o conceito de graça e amor incondicional. Em muitas das nossas vidas chegámos a um ponto, por escolha ou mera circunstância, que fomos conduzidos a uma condição desesperadamente baixa. O lugar a que eu estou a me referir é aquele em que uma pessoa se sente como se não pudesse merecer a redenção. Estou confiante de que pessoalmente já visitei este lugar mais do que algumas vezes.

No entanto, Deus tem usado estes "pontos baixos" para abrir os nossos olhos para a nossa fraqueza. Mais do que isso, Ele ofereceu-nos a dolorosamente bela verdade que a nossa fraqueza foi uma porta aberta para permitir que a Sua graça infinita, poder e disposição entrasse na nossa vida (2 Coríntios 12:9-10). Mais ainda, Ele ensinou-nos que a resposta a estarmos ligados a Ele foi o oposto do que temos aprendido; Deus não está à espera pela nossa conquista excepcional, Ele está à espera pela humildade para abrir a porta do nosso coração.

Amado, por favor, sabe que Deus te ama e está pronto a encontrar-te onde estás. Deus não está à espera que tu saias à frente. Não, o teu Pai amoroso está aqui para encontrar-Se contigo, de braços abertos, e para vestir as tuas feridas. Não podes aperfeiçoar os teus esforços aos olhos do Senhor; e Ele não quer ou espera isso de ti.

Some come from families of achievers. They’re often overachievers and, in some cases, "workaholics". Perhaps this is ingrained in their genetics, perhaps it’s a combination of drive and ability. Maybe the’re just wired to be "highly alert", or perhaps it’s just that they’ve been socialized to believe that they were born to continually strive for "more" in life. I suspect, like so many things, it’s a combination of two or more of the above. Whatever the reason, members of some families are unlikely to take comfort in the concept of rest or, worse yet, weakness.

It’s not surprising then, that the idea of belonging to God, of being beloved, quickly turns into a hope for some kind of excellence on their part. Along the way, they try to offer some kind of perceived perfection to God, and then struggle greatly with the concept of grace and unconditional love. In many of our lives we’ve come to a place, either by choice or mere circumstance, that we were brought desperately low. The place I’m referring to is one where a person feels as though they cannot possibly deserve redemption. I’m confident I’ve personally visited this place more than a few times.

However, God has used these "low points" to open our eyes to our weakness. More than that, He has offered us the painfully beautiful truth that our weakness was an open door to allow His unending grace, power and provision to enter our life (2 Corinthians 12:9-10). Further still, He has taught us that the answer to connection with Him was the opposite of what we have learned; God is not waiting for our exceptional achievement, He is waiting for humility to open the door to our heart.

Beloved, please know that God loves you and is ready to meet you where you are. God is not waiting for you to come out ahead. No, your loving Father is here to meet you, with open arms, and to dress your wounds. You cannot perfect your efforts in the eyes of the Lord; and He doesn’t want or expect that from you.

Guardando O Dom # Guarding The Gift

Paulo escreveu a sua primeira carta a Timóteo quando ele, Timóteo, estava em Éfeso. Enquanto Timóteo ensinava ali o Evangelho, falsos mestres tinham surgido que iam acrescentando e fazendo alterações. No final da sua carta Paulo advertiu Timóteo para "guardar" o que lhe foi "confiado".

Timóteo devia guardar o Evangelho, as boas notícias da nossa salvação através de Cristo. Na verdade, Paulo mencionou isto de novo na segunda carta que enviou a Timóteo (2 Timóteo 1:14). Este foi certamente um assunto de importância para Paulo e deve ser importante para nós também.

Sabes, a nossa fé no Evangelho é um dom de Deus (Efésios 2:8) e não é apenas um dom, mas é um presente de muito valor (João 3:16). Naturalmente, quando recebemos um presente caro mantemos um olhar atento sobre ele. Mas muitas vezes esquecemos do tesouro que recebemos no dom da salvação, e não o guardamos como Paulo instruiu Timóteo a fazer.

Em alguns casos, guardar este dom é defender a verdade, o Evangelho bíblico, e confrontar um falso Evangelho anti-bíblico. Por exemplo, confrontar falsos mestres que pregam que Deus é o nosso génio espiritual, e devemos simplesmente "esfregar" a lâmpada de oração e Ele nos dará o que queremos. Outros exemplos podem ser muito mais pessoais, como confrontar o pecado nas nossas próprias vidas.

Fomos transformados por este Evangelho e tornámo-nos novas pessoas, combate o bom combate quando a tentação chegar e tentar roubar o que foi confiado a ti (1 Timóteo 6:12).

Paul wrote his first letter to Timothy when he, Timothy, was in Ephesus. As Timothy taught the Gospel there, false teachers had arisen that were adding to it, changing it. At the end of his letter Paul warned Timothy to "guard" what had been "entrusted" to him.

Timothy was to guard the Gospel, the good news of our salvation through Christ. In fact, Paul mentioned this again in the second letter he sent to Timothy (2 Timothy 1:14). This was most certainly a matter of importance to Paul and should be important to us as well.

You see, our faith in the Gospel is a gift from God (Ephesians 2:8) and not only is it a gift, but it is a costly gift (John 3:16). Naturally, when we receive a costly gift we keep a close eye on it. But often times we forget what a treasure we have received in the gift of salvation, and don’t guard it as Paul instructed Timothy to.

In some cases, guarding this gift is defending the true, biblical Gospel, and confronting a false, unbiblical Gospel. For instance, confronting false teachers who preach that God is our spiritual genie, and we must simply "rub" the lamp of prayer and He will give us what we want. Other instances may be far more personal, such as confronting sin in our own lives.

We have been changed by this Gospel and have become new people, fight the good fight when temptation arrives and seeks to steal what has been entrusted to you (1 Timothy 6:12).

Um Novo Mandamento Para Amar # A New Command To Love

Jesus disse estas palavras (do verso de hoje) depois de de ter lavado os pés aos discípulos. Em primeiro lugar, Ele deixou bem claro que o amarmos um ao outro não era uma sugestão, mas um "novo mandamento" para o homem vindo de Deus. Este amor que devemos ter uns pelos outros não é opcional, mas uma marca necessária do Cristão.

Em segundo lugar, este amor é para ser da mesma qualidade como o de Cristo. Ele deu a entender que iríamos julgar a qualidade do nosso amor pelo Seu, "assim como Eu vos amei". Então este sentimento deve estar profundamente enraizado em cada Cristão: Eu não julgo a minha espiritualidade, comparando-me com os outros, mas com Cristo. Quando fazemos isto só há uma resposta possível, arrependimento e humildade.

Em terceiro lugar, Jesus deu ao mundo a autoridade para julgar o nosso Cristianismo pelo amor que temos uns pelos outros. Em relação a este versículo Francis Schaeffer apropriadamente comentou: "Sobre a Sua autoridade Ele dá ao mundo o direito de julgar se eu e tu somos Cristãos nascidos de novo com base no nosso amor observável para com todos os Cristãos. Isto é muito assustador." Este é um importante chamado, mas será para o bem do mundo e a nossa alegria de o perseguir na comunidade Cristã.

Jesus spoke these words after He had finished washing the disciples’ feet. Firstly, He made it quite clear that our loving one another was not a suggestion, but a "new commandment" to men from God. This love we are to have for one another is not optional, but a required mark of the Christian.

Secondly, this love is to be of the same quality as Christ’s. He implied that we would judge the quality of our love by His, "just as I have loved you". This sentiment should be deeply rooted in every Christian then: I don’t judge my spirituality by comparing myself with others, but with Christ. When we do this there is only one possible response, repentance and humility.

Thirdly, Jesus gave the world the authority to judge our Christianity by the love we have for one another. Regarding this verse Francis Schaeffer aptly commented, "Upon His authority He gives the world the right to judge whether you and I are born-again Christians on the basis of our observable love toward all Christians. That’s pretty frightening." This is a high calling, but it will be to the world’s good and our joy to pursue it in Christian community.

Obsessão Por Deus Precisa-se # Godly Obsession Needed

Toma um minuto e pensa sobre estas perguntas:
- Onde está o teu telemóvel?
- Quantas vezes olhaste para ele hoje?
- Quanto tempo gastaste nele?

Agora, pensa nisto:
- Onde está a tua Bíblia?
- Quantas vezes é que a leste hoje?
- Quanto tempo gastaste a lê-la?

No nosso mundo de hoje, a vida está cheia de distracções, como os nossos telemóveis. Vou tão longe e digo que a tecnologia é uma obsessão. O que aconteceria se os Cristãos de hoje fossem tão obcecados com a Bíblia e a sua relação com o Senhor? Acho que muitas pessoas que não são Cristãs lêem mais a Bíblia que muitos Cristãos. Como é que podemos ser discípulos educados e eficazes sem conhecer a Bíblia? A Bíblia é a nossa própria armadura pessoal e arsenal em armas de verdade, fé, esperança e amor. Não podemos colocar o dom de Deus para nós a bom uso sem saber o que diz.

O mundo está obcecado com a tecnologia e outras distracções. Vou desafiar-te hoje a tornares-te focado. Torna-te tão obcecado com a Bíblia e com Deus. Não seria incrível se os Cristãos fossem tão familiarizados com a Bíblia como o mundo está com os seus telemóveis? Que tipo de ousadia no ministério produziria?

- Where is your cell phone?
- How many times have you looked at it today?
- How much time did you spend on it?

Now, think about this:
- Where is your Bible?
- How many times have you read it today?
- How much time did you spend reading it?

In our world today, life is full of distractions, like our phones. I would go so far to say that technology is an obsession. What would happen if Christians today were just as obsessed with the Bible and their relationship with the Lord? I find that many people who are not Christians are more well-read in the Bible than a lot of Christians. How are we supposed to be effective and educated disciples without knowing the Bible? The Bible is our own personal armor and arsenal in weapons of truth, faith, hope, and love. We cannot put God’s gift to us to good use without knowing what it says.

The world is obsessed with technology and other distractions. I am going to challenge you today to become focused. Become just as obsessed with the Bible and with God. Wouldn’t it be awesome if Christians were as familiar with the Bible as the world is with their phones? What kind of boldness in ministering would that produce?

O Tamanho De Uma Pessoa # A Size Of A Person

Como se mede uma pessoa?
Os tamanhos variam conforme o grau de envolvimento.

Ela é enorme para ti quando fala do que leu e viveu, quando te trata com carinho e respeito, quando olha nos olhos e sorri destravada.

É pequena para ti quando só pensa em si mesma, quando se comporta de uma maneira pouco gentil, quando fracassa justamente no momento em que teria que demonstrar o que há de mais importante entre duas pessoas: a amizade.

Uma pessoa é gigante para ti quando se interessa pela tua vida, quando busca alternativas para o teu crescimento, quando sonha junto. É pequena quando se desvia do assunto.

Uma pessoa é grande quando perdoa, quando compreende, quando se coloca no lugar do outro, quando age não de acordo com o que esperam dela, mas de acordo com o que espera de si mesma.

Uma pessoa é pequena quando se deixa reger por comportamentos clichés. Uma decepção pode diminuir o tamanho de um amor que parecia ser grande. Uma ausência pode aumentar o tamanho de um amor que parecia ser ínfimo.

É difícil conviver com esta elasticidade: as pessoas se agigantam e se encolhem aos nossos olhos. O nosso julgamento é feito não através de centímetros e metros, e sim de acções e reacções, de expectativas e frustrações. Uma pessoa é única ao estender a mão e, ao recolhê-la inesperadamente, se torna mais uma...

Não é a altura, nem o peso, nem os músculos que tornam uma pessoa grande. É a sua sensibilidade sem tamanho...

Sê sensível... ama e compreende o outro e fortalece os laços de amizade!

How do you measure a person?

The sizes vary according to the degree of involvement.

She is huge for you when she speaks of what she read and lived, when she treats you with affection and respect, when she looks in the eyes and smiles freely.

She is small for you when she thinks only of herself, when she behaves rudely, when she fails just at the moment she had to demonstrate what is the most important between two people: friendship.

A person is a giant for you when she is interested in your life, when she searchs for alternatives for your growth, when you dream together. She is small when she deviates from the matter.

A person is big when she forgives, when she understands, when she puts herself where the other is, when she doesn't act according to what others expect of her, but according to what she expects of herself.

A person is small when she lets herself be governed by cliché behaviors. A disappointment can decrease the size of a love that seemed to be big. An absence can increase the size of a love that seemed to be small.

It is difficult to live with this elasticity: people grow and shrink before our eyes. Our judgment is made not by centimeters and meters, but of actions and reactions, expectations and frustrations. A person is unique when she reaches out and when unexpectedly turns away becomes just another...
It is not the height or weight, or the muscles that make a person big. It is her sensitivity without size...

Be sensitive... love and understand the other and strengthen the bonds of friendship!

O Amor de Deus Ou Condenação? # God’s Love Or Condemnation?

Todos lutamos para encontrar equilíbrio nas nossas vidas diárias, e isto não é mais verdadeiro do que quando se trata das nossas dietas. Entendemos que uma dieta equilibrada contém uma boa quantidade de proteínas, gorduras boas, carbohidratos, legumes e frutas frescas, etc. Não seria saudável concentrar-nos apenas em um destes grupos de alimentos e ignorar o resto; precisamos de equilíbrio para a saúde física.

Durante a leitura dos versos devocionais de hoje, percebi a importância do equilíbrio espiritual. Aqui está o que eu li:

"Porque Deus amou o mundo de tal maneira, que deu o seu Filho unigénito, para que todo aquele que Nele crê não pereça, mas tenha a vida eterna." (João 3:16)

e o outro verso, João 3:18:

"Quem Nele crê não é condenado, mas quem não crê já está condenado, porquanto não crê no nome do unigénito Filho de Deus." (João 3:18)

Tomado isoladamente, estes versos parecem quase contraditórias. João 3:16 é tudo sobre o amor de Deus por nós, enquanto João 3:18 é sobre condenação. Podemos ser tentados a esquecer o equilíbrio quando lemos estes dois versos. Alguns podem ensinar somente o amor, perdão e graça infinita de Deus; nunca fazendo menção ao pecado. Outros podem ensinar apenas condenação pelos pecados e nunca mencionar a verdade do amor e redenção.

Vamos dar uma abordagem equilibrada nisto e perceber que precisamos de ambos os versos ao falarmos uns com os outros sobre Deus. Uma pessoa nunca vai conhecer o amor surpreendente de Jesus na cruz e o que isto significa para as suas vidas, a menos que reconheçam que os seus pecados são o que os separa de Deus. We all struggle to find balance in our daily lives, and this is hardly more true than when it comes to our diets. We understand that a balanced diet contains a healthy amount of protein, good fats, carbs, fresh veggies and fruits, etc. It would be unhealthy to focus merely on one of these food groups and ignore the rest; we need balance for physical health.

While reading today’s devotional verses, I realized the importance of spiritual balance. Here’s what I read:

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16 ESV)

and another verse, John 3:18:

"Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God." (John 3:18 ESV)

Taken alone, these verses seem almost contradictory. John 3:16 is all about God’s love for us, while John 3:18 is about condemnation. We can tend to forget balance when we read these two verses. Some may teach only the love, forgiveness, and endless grace of God; never mentioning sin. Some may teach only condemnation for sins and never mention the truth of love and redemption.

Let’s take a balanced approach to this and realize that we need both of these verses as we speak to each other about God. A person will never know the astounding love of Jesus on the cross and what it means for their lives unless they realize their sins are what has separated them from God. Understanding sin, however, never points a person to repentance unless they know there is a loving God willing to redeem them.

Deleitando-se Nas Obras De Deus # Delighting In God’s Works

Lembras-te da última vez que algo te cativou completamente? Talvez tivesse sido um documentário sobre uma incrível figura histórica ou evento. Ou talvez tenha sido simplesmente um amor e interesse no teu passatempo escolhido. Quaisquer que os teus interesses possam ser, quase toda a gente já experimentou a emoção de algo novo.

O Salmista está impressionado com as "grandes... obras do SENHOR". Estas obras não são apenas boas, elas são fantásticas! E assim como algumas coisas na vida levam-nos a ter uma sensação de espanto e admiração, também as obras de Deus. Na verdade, as Suas grandes obras rodeiam-nos através da natureza e são demonstradas ao longo da Bíblia.

Infelizmente, às vezes perdemos o nosso sentido de maravilha na nossa caminhada com Deus. A majestade das Suas obras e poder perdem a sua frescura, tornam-se normais para nós e parecem estagnar-se. Isto significa que grande parte da nossa alegria no Senhor pode vacilar e desaparecer. Não deixes que as obras de Deus tornem-se assim na tua vida.

À medida que ouvimos e lemos passagens da Bíblia continuamente, que possamos nunca perder o nosso sentido de admiração. Quando conduzimos pelas mesmas montanhas ou florestas, em vez de nos acostumarmos à sua beleza, devemos olhar para elas com um coração cheio de maravilha que Deus criou algo tão grande e bonito. Não só somos chamados a deliciar-nos com a majestade das obras de Deus, mas elas beneficia-nos no nosso conhecimento e fé em Deus. Aprendemos o seguinte sobre o carácter de Deus nos seguintes versos do Salmo 111:

vs. 3 - Ele está cheio de glória e majestade; A sua justiça permanece para sempre
vs. 4 - Ele é piedoso e misericordioso
vs. 5 - Ele lembra-se da Sua aliança
vs. 7 - Ele é fiel, justo e confiável

Estes são todos os atributos de Deus que aprendemos ao estudar a Sua palavra. Este conhecimento, por sua vez aumenta a nossa fé e nos dá uma maior valorização para o que Deus tem feito em, por e à nossa volta. Alegremo-nos e sejamos felizes porque servimos a um Deus tão amoroso e poderoso!

Do you remember the last time something completely captivated you? Maybe it was a documentary about an amazing historic figure or event. Or maybe it’s simply a love and interest in your chosen hobby. Whatever your interests may be, almost everyone has experienced the excitement of something new.

The Psalmist is amazed at the "great... works of the LORD". These works aren’t simply good, they’re great! And just as some things in life usher a sense of awe and wonder, so should God’s works. In fact, His great works surround us through nature and are demonstrated throughout the Bible.

Unfortunately, sometimes we lose our sense of wonder in our walk with God. The majesty of His works and power lose their freshness, become normal to us and feel stagnate. This means that much of our delight in the Lord can falter and fade. Don’t let the works of God become like this in your life.

As we hear and read Bible passages often, let us never lose our sense of awe. As we drive by the same mountains or forests, rather than growing accustomed to their beauty, we should look upon them with a wonder-filled heart that God has created something so big and beautiful. Not only are we called to delight in the majesty of God’s works, but they benefit us in our knowledge of and faith in God. We learn the following about the character of God in the following verses in Psalm 111:

vs. 3 – He is full of splendor and majesty; His righteousness endures forever
vs. 4 – He is gracious and merciful
vs. 5 – He remembers His covenants
vs. 7 – He is faithful, just, and trustworthy

These are all attributes of God that we learn by studying His word. This knowledge in turn increases our faith & gives us a greater appreciation for what God has done in, for and around us. Let us rejoice and be glad that we serve such a loving and powerful God!

Dado À Ira # Given To Anger

A maioria de nós está bem ciente de que "as más companhias corrompem os bons costumes" (I Coríntios 15:33) e tornamo-nos com quem estamos consistentemente. Quando nos deparamos com versos como estes nas Escrituras, os rostos das pessoas aparecem através do olho da nossa mente. Um nome aparece na nossa cabeça, ou recordamos e repetimos uma situação em que fomos injustiçados. No entanto, o rosto da pessoa que raramente vem à nossa mente é o nosso! És tu este homem ou mulher "dado à ira"? Quando tens um mau dia no escritório, é o teu cônjuge ou filhos que partilham o dia de sofrimento porque os tratas mal?

Não te deixes enganar, ser "dado à ira" é sem dúvida uma armadilha, mas também estar constantemente a ver os outros como sendo aqueles que precisam de ajuda ou de mudar. Não sejas um hipócrita, julga-te pelo mesmo padrão com o qual julgas os outros. É fácil colocar a culpa nos outros, quando podes ser o único com o pavio curto. Não sejas conhecido como um outro Cristão irado ao mundo à tua volta.

Most of us are well aware that "bad company corrupts good morals" (I Corinthians 15:33) and we become who we are consistently with. When we come across verses such as these in Scripture, people’s faces flash through our mind’s eye. A name pops into our head, or we recall and replay a situation where we were wronged. However, the person’s face that rarely comes to mind is our own! Are you that man or woman "given to anger"? When you’ve had a bad day at the office, is it your spouse or kids who share in the day’s suffering because you lash out at them?

Don’t be fooled, being "given to anger" is undoubtedly a snare, but so too is constantly seeing others as the ones who need the fixing or the change. Don’t be a hypocrite, judge yourself by the same standard with which you judge others. It is easy to put the blame on others, when you might be the one with the short fuse. Don’t be known as another angry Christian to the world around you.

Nada Excepto Jesus # Nothing But Jesus

Uma palavra de advertência para todos nós: não sejas um teólogo "quero ser"! Paulo foi directo com a igreja em Corinto. Ele não usou uma conversa filosófica pesada ou discursou interminavelmente, ele foi directo à fonte da vida, Jesus. Como Cristãos, devíamos ser tudo sobre Ele. Devemos acordar com um desejo de ser como Jesus todos os dias e devemos desejar andar como Ele andou. Mas como exactamente é que Ele andou?

Uma óptima pergunta.

Ele atravessou multidões de pessoas a gritar, cuspir e a vaiá-Lo enquanto carregava uma cruz. Isto é como Jesus andou, é assim que Jesus viveu. Ele permitiu ser humilhado, escarnecido e ridicularizado tudo para o nosso bem. Paulo percebeu uma verdade simples, mas poderosa: quando conhecemos Jesus, o nosso orgulho deve evaporar. Não há espaço para arrogância quando tu te encontras com Jesus. Paulo não precisou de usar palavras impressionantes ou mudar o seu vocabulário, ele precisava para anunciar nada excepto "Jesus Cristo e este crucificado."

Esta mentalidade pode operar em nós de duas maneiras diferentes:

Em primeiro lugar, se estamos a procurar constantemente impressionar os outros com o nosso conhecimento ou santidade, perdemos completamente o nosso propósito. A questão não somos nós, é Jesus.

Em segundo lugar, também o perdemos se negligenciarmos partilhar Jesus com os outros, porque estamos preocupados que não sabemos o suficiente. Se fizermos isto, também perdemos o cerne da questão. Mais uma vez, o ponto não somos nós, é Jesus!

Conhece Jesus, fica animado com Ele. O ponto das nossas vidas é apontar para Ele.

A word of admonition to us all: don’t be a "wannabe" theologian! Paul was straightforward with the church in Corinth. He didn’t use philosophically charged speech or yammer on endlessly, he cut straight to the source of life, Jesus. As Christians, we should be all about Him. We should wake up with a craving to be like Jesus everyday and we should long to walk as He walked. But how exactly did He walk?

Great question.

He walked through mobs of people shouting, spitting, and jeering at Him while carrying a cross. That’s how Jesus walked, that’s how Jesus lived. He allowed Himself to be humiliated, mocked, and ridiculed all for our good. Paul realized a simple yet powerful truth: when we know Jesus, our pride should evaporate. There is no room for arrogance when you’ve met Jesus. Paul didn’t need to use impressive words or flex his vocabulary, he needed to proclaim nothing but "Jesus Christ and him crucified."

This mindset can work in us in two different ways:

Firstly, if we’re constantly looking to impress others with our knowledge or holiness, we’ve completely missed our purpose. The point is not us, it’s Jesus.

Secondly, we’ve also missed it if we neglect sharing Jesus with others because we’re worried that we don’t know enough. If we do this, we’ve also missed the heart of the matter. Again, the point is not us, it’s Jesus!

Get to know Jesus, get excited about Him. The point of our lives is to point to Him.
