Partilhas os teus pensamentos mais íntimos com alguém?
Quem é que te conhece realmente, os pensamentos do teu coração e as coisas secretas que intencionalmente mantens escondidas dos outros? Alguns podem dizer que é o seu cônjuge ou um melhor amigo. No entanto, sugiro que mesmo que possas pensar que te conheces bem e que os outros vêem o verdadeiro tu, ninguém te conhece mais completamente do que Aquele que te criou.
Deus diz: "Antes que Eu te formasse no ventre te conheci." Só faz sentido que para conhecermos e compreendermos a nós mesmos, precisamos de um relacionamento pessoal com Aquele que nos conhece melhor.
A boa notícia é que Deus conhece-nos melhor e ama-nos mais do que qualquer outra pessoa. Ele conhece as nossas imperfeições, as nossas falhas e ama-nos na mesma. Através de Jesus Cristo, temos o privilégio de ter uma relação pessoal com o nosso Criador. Este relacionamento começa quando aceitamos o amor de Deus através da fé. É um relacionamento que dura para sempre e isso é uma notícia incrivelmente boa.

Do you share your innermost thoughts with anyone?
Who really knows you and the thoughts of your heart and the secret things you intentionally keep hidden from others? Some may say it’s their spouse or a best friend. Yet, I suggest that even though you may think you know yourself well and that others see the real you, no one knows you more completely than the One who created you.
God says, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you." It only makes sense that to know and understand ourselves, we need a personal relationship with the One who knows us best.
The good news is that God knows us best, and loves us more than anyone else. He knows our failings and our shortcomings and loves us anyway. Through Jesus Christ, we have the privilege of having a personal relationship with our Creator. That relationship begins when we accept God’s love through faith. It’s a relationship that lasts forever, and that’s incredibly good news.
