Quando a felicidade está ligada a coisas ou experiências, ela eventualmente desaparece. Os carros novos avariam, as férias chegam ao fim e a vida continua. Muito do que impulsiona o espírito humano nas suas buscas e conquistas é baseado nos caprichos e desejos passageiros. Se ao menos pudéssemos ver a vida através dos olhos de Deus.
De vez em quando temos um vislumbre da paixão que ilumina o coração de Deus quando alguém embarca numa missão para tornar o mundo um lugar melhor, dando o seu tempo, esforço e recursos para curar doenças, ajudar órfãos, levantar espíritos quebrantados, ganhar a paz, combater a pobreza e partilhar o evangelho de Jesus!
Não é maravilhoso que quando buscamos abençoar os outros a nossa felicidade é maior.

When happiness is linked to things or experiences, it wil eventually disappear. New cars malfunction, the holidays come to an end and life goes on. Much of what drives the human spirit in its pursuits and achievements is based on the whims and transitory desires. If only we could see life through the eyes of God.
Occasionally we get a glimpse of the passion that illuminates the heart of God when someone embarks on a mission to make the world a better place by giving his time, effort and resources to cure diseases, help orphans, uplift broken spirits, gain peace, fight poverty, and share the gospel of Jesus!
Isn't it wonderful that when we seek to bless others our happiness is greater.
