Afaste-se da Má Doutrina # Step Away From The Bad Doctrine

Já alguma vez teve um amigo ou conhecido que viu estava a ir na direcção errada com as suas crenças? Talvez estas crenças parecessem um pouco Bíblicas, mas com um pouco de estudo soube que elas eram falsas. Estas crenças podem causar divisões no seu relacionamento com essas pessoas. Tudo o que parece fazer é discutir com elas sobre o que a Bíblia realmente diz e como elas estão errados. Isto também pode acontecer na igreja quando se trata de falsos ensinamentos.

O que deve fazer então quando se depara com falsos ensinos ou ideias que causam divisão? Paulo diz aos Romanos para evitá-las. Paulo não está a dizer à igreja para aceitar qualquer doutrina, mas que às vezes é melhor evitar aquelas pessoas do que discutir com elas. Quando começamos a discutir com elas, o pior de nós pode sobressair e isso não vai ajudar o nosso ponto. Muitas vezes precisamos apenas de dar um passo para trás, orar por elas, e deixar que o Espírito Santo faça o seu trabalho quando se trata de convicção e arrependimento.

Have you ever had a friend or acquaintance who you thought was going the wrong direction with their beliefs? Maybe these beliefs seemed like they were somewhat Biblical, but with a little bit of study you knew that they were wrong. These false teaching or beliefs can cause divisions in your relationship with them. All you seem to do is argue with them about what the Bible really says and how they are wrong. This can happen in the church as well when it comes to false teachings.

What are you supposed to do then when you encounter false teachings or ideas that cause division? Paul tells the Romans to avoid them. Paul is not telling the church to accept just any doctrine, but that at times it is better to avoid those people all together than argue with them. When we start to argue with them, the worst in us can come out and it does not help our point. Many times we need to just step back, pray for them, and let the Holy Spirit do it’s work when it comes to conviction and repentance.
