Porquê Jesus Passou Tempo Com Deus? # Why Did Jesus Spend Time With God?

Jesus era 100% Deus e 100% homem. É um conceito incompreensível que provavelmente nunca entenderemos totalmente deste lado do Céu, mas isto significa que, sendo plenamente Deus, Jesus experimentou tudo o que fazemos. Ele experimentou fome e sede, traição e dor, stress e exaustão e até mesmo todas as tentações que enfrentamos. Então, como é que Ele lidou com isso? Ele passou tempo com o Seu Pai Celestial.

Todos conhecemos exaustão e stress. Para aqueles que estão a servir regularmente no ministério, a incrível dificuldade emocional, espiritual e intelectual de tentar satisfazer as necessidades e demandas intermináveis ​​das pessoas pode ser avassalador. Muitas vezes, à medida que o ministério cresce, cresce também a necessidade. A experiência de Jesus não foi diferente. Quando o ministério de Jesus começou, Ele enfrentou exigências incríveis a cada passo. Foi extremamente stressante e exaustivo. Jesus precisava de tempo com o Pai Celestial mais do que nunca. Jesus precisava que o Pai O recarregasse, revigorasse e revitalizasse para o outro dia.

Podemos não estar a liderar um ministério exigente como Jesus, mas todos enfrentamos tempos semelhantes de intenso stress, necessidade avassaladora e exaustão física. Ficamos sem combustível, sem energia. Não poderíamos todos ser recarregados, revigorados e revitalizados pelo Criador do Universo? Segue o exemplo de Jesus e vai a Deus. Investe no tempo com Deus e deixa-O equipar, refrescar e fortalecer-te para enfrentares cada dia.

Jesus was 100% God and 100% man. It’s a mind-boggling concept that we’ll probably never fully understand this side of Heaven, but it means that while being fully God, Jesus fully experienced everything we do. He experienced hunger and thirst, betrayal and pain, stress and exhaustion, and even every temptation we face. So how did He cope? He spent time with His Heavenly Father.

We’ve all known exhaustion and stress. For those regularly serving in ministry, the incredible emotional, spiritual and intellectual drain of trying to meet the endless needs and demands of people can be overwhelming. Often as the ministry grows, so does the need. Jesus’ experience was no different. As Jesus’ ministry took off, He faced incredible demands at every turn. It was extremely stressful and exhausting. Jesus needed time with His Heavenly Father more than ever before. Jesus needed the Father to recharge, refresh and revitalize Him for another day.

We may not be leading a demanding ministry like Jesus, but we all face similar seasons of intense stress, overwhelming need and physical exhaustion. We run out of gas, out of power. Couldn’t we all stand to be recharged, refreshed and revitalized by the Creator of the Universe? Follow Jesus’ example and go to God. Invest in time with God and let Him equip, refresh and strengthen you to face each day.
